Training and Education in Automotive Engineering:
For the area of automotive technology the following three system groups are on offer: UniTrain, CarTrain and Training panel system. The need for three different systems lies in the complexity of the subject material to be mastered along with the level of knowledge of the trainees. The UniTrain system is suitable in particular for teaching the basics. The CarTrain or the training panel systems are designed for the study of whole system groups, as can be found in the area of engine management, for example.

Industry for the Lab: Learning Flexibly, Modularly, and Holistically with the Industrial Mechatronic Unit
With our Industrial Mechatronic Unit (IMU), you can replicate industrial automated production systems of varying complexity. Thanks to its modular design, the IMU is perfectly suited for future expansion. This system supports you throughout your entire training journey, from the fundamentals of PLC programming to connected production processes.
The industrial touch panel and various control elements enable extensive operation and monitoring of the system and its states. The touch panel is fully programmable, allowing it to display a wide range of information about the system. The control elements are also freely configurable, ensuring simple and intuitive operation of the unit.
Everything You Need for Teaching in One System
Our IMU is a cyber-physical system. It includes a programmable logic controller (PLC) as its logic unit, Ethernet ports for communication, a DC motor, and various sensors. An IO-Link master module allows you to connect additional smart sensors, such as the included RFID read/write head. A 25-pin serial interface makes the PLC’s inputs and outputs available for various processing stations.
The IMU: Your Companion Throughout Training
After covering the basics of PLC programming, you can address additional aspects by setting up modular processing systems—for example, separating workpieces, machining, quality control, labeling, and sorting. You can network multiple systems to create custom production facilities and integrate our Enterprise Resource Planning system, ERP-Lab.

UniTrain: an entire laboratory in one device
UniTrain is the compact training system for electrical engineering, electronics, automotive engineering and industry: it combines practical experiments and digital learning content in exciting UniTrain courses. This allows you to teach theoretical knowledge and practical skills at the same time – that's Real Experience Learning!
A whole world of learning in a small case
You connect the UniTrain learning system to your PC or laptop via cable or WLAN and install it quickly and easily in just a few simple steps. It comes to you in a handy, small case format and contains the UniTrain interface as well as the circuit boards and instruments required for the respective course.
Practical learning that motivates
Students have over 130 different instruments at their disposal - practically a fully equipped modern electronics laboratory.
The UniTrain interface processes the measured values from the experiments. With the help of the UniTrain courses, learners analyse them and check the results of their experiments directly in the course.
