ASC Ausbildung und Service GmbH is a German limited liability company founded in 2009 and headquartered in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia. ASC promotes practice-oriented education and acts as the implementing body in Germany for Sino-German and Sino-European education cooperation projects. The Ausbildung Specialists Committee, initiated by ASC, brings together academics, industry experts and master craftsmen from around the world. Company and committee share one brand, one address and one public identity: "ASC".

All of ASC's work is designed to deliver results that can be applied and verified in practice.

Fields of business

Standards, certification and examinations: ASC operates the IQF (International Quality Framework) and, together with the EduNet World Association e.V. (EWA), the IQF-EWAX certification scheme covering system certification, professional certification and trainer certification. ASC also develops examination items and teaching materials and organises the examinations.

Educational management and training: operation management for vocational schools and faculties, international preparatory and project classes, tenders for training facilities and equipment, and specialist lectures at universities.

Exchange and international cooperation: since 2009 ASC has designed tailored study visits, training programmes and business delegations in Europe for more than 500 government officials, academics, company managers and vocational teachers, and supports student exchange, international competitions and academic publication.

Individual training and support services: German language training, company preparatory training, specialised technical training and the ASC Ausbildungsbegleitprogramm.

ASC Ausbildungsbegleitprogramm

The programme prepares Chinese candidates for vocational training in Germany in industry, logistics, hospitality and nursing. It consists of preparatory training before departure and continuous support in Germany until graduation. According to ASC's own records, the programme has served more than one hundred participants since the first group arrived in 2015, of whom 89.8% completed their German dual training and graduated.

European network

ASC works with the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK), inter-company training centres and vocational academies across Germany and Europe, and cooperates with EWA on international education-industry projects.
